NEMO Survey on Copyright and Museums in Europe

NEMO Survey on Copyright and Museums The Network of European Museum Organisations (NEMO) has recently launched an online survey to give an overview of the most important issues that European museums face as regards copyright. The survey results from the acknowledgement that copyright and related rights have a very important impact on various aspects of museum activities. NEMO works for copyright being put into balance within the current developments for the museum sector. Many museums feel themselves to be hindered in their practices and projects by copyright. In this context, NEMO is asking the European museums to contribute to the survey in order to gain an overview of the most pressing issues in museums facing copyright questions and will help the network build arguments for the political decision-making. The survey will be available until 15 May at http://www.ne-mo.org/news/article/nemo/nemo-survey-on-copyright-and-museums/376.html
