Malaysia, new Mobility Funding Guide published
culture360.ASEF.org is pleased to announce a new updated Mobility Funding Guide for Malaysia researched in partnership with Cultural Economy Development Agency (Cendana). This new guide, the 5th edition since 2012, offers a comprehensive list of public and private organisations that are funding cultural mobility to and from Malaysia. It also includes a special section on funding specifically for the Malaysian sector.
From 2018, ASEF has initiated a new approach for the Asian Guides that is involving local content partners in the research process. It lists international, national and local resources, both public and private in most artistic and cultural disciplines. The Guide also lists a few additional national sources of funding open only to the Malaysian sector.

Since 2012, the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and On the Move (OTM) have jointly presented the Mobility Funding Guides for the 51 countries of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). From 2018, ASEF has initiated a new approach for the Asian Guides that is involving local content partners in the research process. The Mobility Funding Guides have been recognised by UNESCO in its 2018 Global Report as a "comprehensive and updated list [...] for the cultural mobility of artists and cultural practitioners in Asia and Europe". Further, by providing free access to these series of country-focused guides on culture360.ASEF.org, ASEF contributes to the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
