Nordic Match - launch of new Nordic creatives networking platform
The Nordic welfare model is based on trust and trust is born in human encounters. Trust is also the driving force behind the new Nordic Match networking platform, initiated by the Nordic Culture Point and creative agency Måndag to foster Nordic creative know-how in a new way.
Nordic creative professionals need new, informal ways to meet and share ideas. Together with four Nordic creative professionals the Nordic Culture Point, creative agency Måndag and Human Hotel are developing a new networking platform, Nordic Match, which will launched at Helsinki Design Week 2018. The concept will be published and developed further together with the audience at Helsinki Design Week festival hub 13 September. The seats are limited but you can also follow the discussion and comment on it via real-time stream at Helsinki Design Week’s website. Welcome to learn more, participate in the discussion and develop the platform further with us in the spirit of TRUST, which is Helsinki Design Week’s main theme this year!
Nordic Match provides a possibility for creative and cultural professionals from other Nordic countries to visit Helsinki. During the visit the guests will be staying at their Helsinki based colleagues’ homes and familiarise themselves with the local cultural scene through a carefully curated networking programme built for them. In exchange, the guests will share their knowledge and expertise as part of the Nordic Culture Point’s events programme. During 2019-2021 the Nordic Culture Point will test the platform with an aim to expand it to other Nordic cities as well.
