Paris | Korean pansori performance and round table

Song Sun-seop, master of Korean traditional pansori, will perform Heungboga at the Maison des Cultures du Monde in Paris on 4 October (Part 1) and 5 October (Part II), with a Round Table on the Pansori artform on 5 October, involving various experts and demonstrations. In 2013, Pansori is celebrating a double anniversary, with the 50th year since its recognition as part of the cultural heritage of Korea and 10 years since it was inscribed into the UNESCO register of intangible cultural heritage. Master Song Sun-seop, is recognised in Korea as living national treasure n°5 and will perform the entire drama for the first time in France - Heungboga is presented in two parts, with French language sur-titles.
