Poland | 1st Heritage Forum of Central Europe
The International Cultural Centre in Krakow organises the first Heritage Forum of Central Europe, bringing together specialists from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia and other experts from the wider region. The Forum aims to become a voice of Central Europe, representing the Visegrad Group of countries (v4), on matters of heritage and its protection and management. The organiser’s intention is for the first gathering of the Forum to bring together not only distinguished speakers, specialists from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, but also to encourage participation in this and subsequent events, of experts and representatives of institutions from other countries of the region. In line with the wishes of the Ministers of Culture of V4, since 2007, the International Cultural Centre has been the coordinator of a panel of experts in cultural heritage, and hence, as the starting point for the three days of the Forum, we wish to take the proceedings of the conference on “Protecting and safeguarding cultural heritage. The systems of management of the cultural heritage in the Visegrad countries.”, organised by ICC in cooperation with the Visegrad partners in 2010. Registration and programme details available online. ——————————————————————————– This opportunity came via LabforCulture (Thanks!) ——————————————————————————-Similar content
