Singapore | Antāti specialist art workshops
From July to September 2022 Singapore-based consultancy Antāti is conducting specialist workshops focused on collecting, curating, mounting and mount making, and conservation.
The workshops bring into focus aspects of collection building and exhibition making to aid institutional representatives and individuals engaged in these pursuits.
Workshops
- 29 July 2022: MountEd with Michael Lapsley, a workshop on mounting and mount making
- 19 August 2022: From Chintz to Roller Prints with Peter Lee, a workshop on Southeast Asian textiles
- 26 August 2022: The Written Word with Sureshkumar Muthukumaran, a workshop on South Asian Manuscripts
- 9 September 2022: Insights into Indian Jewellery—Materials, Treatment, and Authenticity, a workshop on jewellery conservation with Joanna Whalley

As Antāti recognises the importance of specialist training to enable professionals of the future, they are offering five sponsored places in the workshops for students (Diploma/Degree) who are from the fields of Art, Art History, Design, History, and Conservation.
The first three workshops will also be complemented by an exhibit on the respective themes, and these will be open to public. The second and the third workshops will also have some continuous learning components that will continue after the date of the workshop itself.
Antāti is a museum and historical research consultancy that offers training, expert guidance, and research in the fields of history, art, and heritage.
