This year the Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC) takes place 6-8 September and celebrates “Imagine-Asia” as the festival theme and Singapore as the Country of Focus. The Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) aims to celebrate and promote the creation and appreciation of children’s books and content, with a focus on Asian themes.

More than 90 local and international writers, illustrators, publishers, storytellers, educators, translators and more will gather to discuss the creation and development of Asian content for children.

AFCC 2018 features a diverse and thought-provoking line-up of over 70 talks, workshops and masterclasses across four programme tracks.

Award-winning writer Suchen Christine Lim will give the annual Children’s Literature Lecture, while we pay tribute to the late pioneer illustrator Kwan Shan Mei with a retrospective exhibition of some of her best-known illustrations. There will also be a book fairbook launchesperformances and more!
