Singapore, South Korea & Vietnam to feature in ASEF-supported database of cultural policies

Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam will be among the first Asian countries to be featured in the recently launched WorldCP - International Database of Cultural Policies. The database, which is supported by ASEF, will significantly enhance access to current information on arts and cultural policies and trends of Asian and European countries, while also promoting exchange and dialogue on policymaking.

The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, Singapore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, South Korea and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam are the national partners in the project in 2012. India Foundation for the Arts Executive Director Mr Anmol Vellani will serve as the Regional Editor for Asia.

WorldCP is promoted by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and a consortium of partners from around the world. ASEF’s support to this programme is through its Asia-Europe Compendium of Cultural Policies programme.
