Southeast Asia: Art, Culture heritage and artistic relations with Europe/Poland

  An International Conference on Southeast Asia: Art, Culture heritage and artistic relations with Europe/Poland to be held at the Manggha Museum in Krakow Organisers are inviting museum professionals and scholars from the European Union and Southeast Asia to meet and exchange ideas on Southeast Asia on the following themes:
  • Southeast Asian art in multi-religious and multi-ethnic contexts
  • The cultural role played by cour and royal patronage of art in Southeast Asia
  • Local cultures of Southeast Asia and their artistic traditions
  • Modern  and contemporary art of Southeast Asia
  • Artistic relations between Europe and Southeast Asia
  • Protection of the region’s cultural heritage
This conference is being held to commemorate Poland’s presidency in the European Union and connected with the activities of ASEM. For more information : south.east.art@interia.eu
