andLondon and Berlin based world sales and production company of independent documentary and fiction films, Taskovski Films and Asian Network of Documentary (AND) announced its new partnership at Busan IFF/Asian Film Market last month. The partnership take off through the “AND Taskovski Films Asian Talent Fund”, aimed at supporting Asian Documentary within the international market.


Taskovski Films’ main activities include promotion and sales, development, financing and co-producing documentary and feature films, festival consultancy and publicity services. With a passion to discover new talent and authorial stories, Taskovski Films welcome innovative, playful and risky forms of filmmaking capable of engaging and surprising audiences around the globe.

AND is also a coalition committed to supporting the production and distribution of Asian documentaries. The administration and oversight of AND are being managed by the Asian Cinema Fund of Busan International Film Festival. During the Busan International Film Festival, AND holds its Clinics program which introduces key knowledge to Asian filmmakers to strengthen their projects and broaden insights into documentary markets.

The partnership of Taskovski Films and AND – two organizations that share a passion for discovering new world wide talent – will act as a strong support for the growth of Asian documentary. AND Taskovski Films Asian Talent Fund will provide support for 1 project participating in AND Clinic. The support will be provided through a year long mentoring on the project’s development, financing and international distribution. This year, the AND Taskovski Films Asian Talent Fund will go to Datong by Zhou Hao (China).

The mentorship will include Creative producing: project development and presentation to possible investors, Documentary Financing: international funding programs, TV programs, co-productions, Editing: Rough cut editing, International Distribution: festivals, marketing, promotion and sales.
