Udine Far East Film Festival
The 17th edition of Udine Far East Film, the film festival for popular Asian cinema, is held 23 April to 2 May 2015 in Udine, Italy. The full programme is published in April. Aim of the Festival - To encourage and develop the understanding and appreciation of East Asian popular filmmaking amongst European and Italian audiences. - To contribute to the commercial distribution of Asian films across European and Italian markets. - To study and research the historical attributes of Asian filmmaking through retrospectives organised with the cooperation of Asian film archives and government agencies. - To create a mutually beneficial exchange between Asian and European filmmaking companies. ACCREDITATION Accreditation gives you access to all the screenings and the panel discussions with the special guests of the festival. There are three types of accreditation available (White Tiger, White Tiger Under 26 and Black Dragon). From 9th February you can register on-line on our website www.fareastfilm.com (if you have already attended the festival, you can use the same credentials from last year). HOSPITALITY Cinema critics, specialized journalists, representatives of international festivals and film archives, buyers, as well as university professors and students of cinema and oriental languages, can apply for the Festival accommodation. The request for the students has to be done by the reference professor.
