[caption id="attachment_65504" align="aligncenter" width="620"] The Silence of Insects by Yoko Seyama[/caption] The Unfolding Kafka Festival takes place in Thailand with events in Bangkok (3-22 November) and Chiang Mai (25-25 November), centred on a series of performances that draw inspiration from the madly bizarre and surreal world of Kafka. A collaboration between Goethe-Institut and Japan Foundation, the festival's artistic director is Jitti Chompee, renowned choreographer and founder of Thai dance company 18 Monkeys. It aims to highlight the importance of performance art through international collaborations. The programme includes dance performances, installation and screenings.
