#WeUsedTo - contribute to online project reflecting on changes since coronavirus

How has your life changed since the #coronavirus hit? #WeUsedTo - WeUsed. To - is an invitation to share reflections on the COVID-19 pandemic experience. Feel free to explore, to share, and to add your own perspective.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a majorly disruptive event at a global scale. It causes death and affects lives in communities everywhere. But it is not just the virus that spreads. Emotions, uncertainties, facts, beliefs, and experiences propagate fast and in many directions.

Keeping bodies at a safe distance has proven to be critical for preventing the virus to get from one person to another. How does that impact our lives, our routines, our sense of belonging to a social group? Sharing experiences and reflections may be important for us to figure out how to live together in world, where COVID-19 is likely to be around for a while.

#WeUsedTo is created by online participants and conceptualized by Studio Olafur Eliasson, Berlin (SOE), and Interacting Minds Centre, Aarhus University (IMC) with Alan Woo and Daniel Massey.

We used to share more.

Now we distance more.

 I used to feel courage.

Now I feel I must have more courage.

I used to take for granted to travel.

Now I see it as an exceptional thing.

We used to stay up all night and wonder what we would be and become in the future.

Now we don't know if there still is a future.

We used to dance to be free.

Now we lie down and wait for freedom.

I used to worry about the future.

Now I love the present.
