WING Platform for Performance events in Hong Kong

None wing WING Platform for Performance in Hong Kong presents performances by contemporary Swiss artists working in territory crossover between dance, performance and visual arts. Gold by Alexandra Bachzetsis on March 20th and Duchesses by Marie-Caroline Hominal & François Chaignaud on March 26th. Gold and Duchesses are two performances by contemporary Swiss artists working in the exciting no-man's-land that is the crossover of performing and visual arts, with works oscillating between poetics and politics, between moving and standing still, exploring this often visited yet still vastly uncharted territory.

WING is a Hong Kong based non-profit organization for performance founded in 2015 by Leslie Van Eyck focusing on the crossover between dance, visual art theatre and other hybrid art practices.

WING acts as platform between the local art field and a broad network of artists and institutions stimulating international exchanges in the local community. WING is situated in the industrial neighborhood of Chai Wan, a dynamic area with a growing community of artists, designers and creative industries.

WING aims to create a unique platform to nourish local micro cosmoses through residencies, performances, artist talks, workshops and more.

Gold  and Duchesses performances are supported by Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and Consulate General of Switzerland | Curator: Stéphane Noël
