Open Call for International Productions for the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress / International Theatre Festival for Children and Young Audiences in Tokyo, on 14 – 24 May 2020.
ASSITEJ Japan proudly announces the Open Call for international productions for the 20th ASSITEJ World Congress / International Theatre Festival for Children and Young Audiences that will be held in Tokyo from May 14th to 24th in 2020.
The theme of the festival is TOWARDS THE UNKNOWN ~ Beginning the Journey. We will be looking for productions, which envision and question what our future can be and leads into the future of today’s children and young audiences.
The organisers will select 25 productions of official invitations and a certain number of productions as fringe productions, for which applicants can bring their productions at their own expense.
