Croatia | Call for glitch art events 2022
/’fu:bar/ Glitch Art Festival is calling for proposals for the festival’s main programme, held in Zagreb and online from 1 to 7 October 2022.
/’fu:bar/ is an annual programme focused on electronic experiments and research in contemporary error-themed digital art and theory. There is a main week-long programme of talks, workshops and performances, as well as a partner programme that extends until December 2022. The partner programme offers artist residencies, educational events, video screenings, group exhibitions and an open archive, shown and shared at multiple partner locations and online.
/’fu:bar/ 2022 is oriented toward understanding, articulating and supporting various modes of digital+online IDENTITIES.
Event proposals can include:
- New Media workshops + optional 2023 FLAG Residency mentorship proposals
- Glitch-themed lectures
- Electronic performances
- Hybrid events
Support
- Artist work selected for the event will be remunerated 50–200 EUR depending on the event
- Land travel and short stays will be supported in arrangement with the artists depending on the overall budget and the epidemiological situation
Long-distance, air travel or private hotel rooms cannot be covered by the event (in this case they can provide an invitation letter or an option to conduct the event online).
