Cyprus | Paphos International Film Festival 2024

The Paphos International Film Festival (PIFF) is calling for short films from international filmmakers, to be part of the festival in in Paphos, Cyprus, from 28 to 30 June 2024. 

PIFF is committed to supporting authentically independent short films and it aims to research, promote and develop the art of independent film making. They support low budget films because they strongly believe that they are worth a chance. PIFF aims to become a platform, giving a voice to directors and filmmakers who work with very little but have a lot to give. 

The programme includes screenings of short films from Cyprus and the rest of the world. The categories include the following:  

• Films up to 20 minutes from Cypriot and International filmmakers
• Student films up to 15 minutes (both Cypriot and international) 
• Films in the special category of comedy

The festival focuses on community and inclusivity, and it aims to travel across borders in order to develop a spirit of friendship and cooperation with filmmakers from Cyprus and from all over the world.
