Academy of Dramatic Art

Akademija dramske umjetnosti (ADU) – Academy of Dramatic Art (ADA) is one of 3 art academies in the Zagreb University (along with the Music Academy and the Academy of Fine Arts). Since 1950, the ADA has been encouraging both students and staff to develop individually, learn, create, and consider the artistic practice and teaching methods as a path towards a successful professional artistic career.

Together with theoretical classes, all ADA students are involved in practical artistic productions, developing and executing approximately 100 films, 60 theatre and 30 dance productions at the Academy. These projects are developed through cooperation with the ADA departments, as well as public institutions in the field of culture, production houses and experienced artists with various and diverse artistic backgrounds. All productions are available to the public.
