Adelaide Central School of Art

Adelaide Central School of Art  is the only accredited independent art school in South Australia, one of just three nationally. Centrally located in a heritage building in Norwood, it prides itself on intensive studio-based teaching and learning, building artistic and intellectual skills through the practices of drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and digital imaging, married with the study of the history and theory of art.

Founded in 1982, Adelaide Central School of Art is now an independent, not-for-profit, accredited Higher Education Provider, nationally recognised and respected for its on-going contribution to nurturing the talents and professionalism of its graduates. The School provides tuition for both full-time and part-time study pathways in addition to offering numerous short courses, master classes and workshops throughout the academic year.
