Alliance Française de Bangkok

Established in 1912, Alliance Française Bangkok is Thailand’s premier Franco-Thai cultural center.

Alliance Française Bangkok has the honor of being under the patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Devoted to the teaching and learning of the French language, as well as the promotion of Francophone cultures and cultural diversity, Alliance Française Bangkok strives to be welcoming and professional, in tune with the pace of the vibrant capital.

Alliance Française is fertile ground for open possibilities, a nurturing environment in which to learn French and Thai, and to make use of a rich and diverse body of cultural programs and events, including a regular film screenings programme. Students may enroll in a wide range of classes and workshops led by specialists and experts, such as fashion and dance classes.

Other facilities include the Media Library’s expansive collection, also available in digital format (Culturethèque), a modern fully-equipped auditorium/cinema, the renowned French restaurant Café Mademoiselle, which also offers Thai cuisine, as well as the French bookshop Carnets d’Asie.
