Alliance Francaise de Karachi

Since 1954, the Alliance Française de Karachi has served as a French language centre, cultural centre and event space in the heart of Clifton, Karachi.

Operating as a not for profit, the Alliance Française de Karachi is part of the larger Foundation Alliance Française, which was founded in Paris in 1883. The institution works to promote French language, Francophone culture and cultural diversity in cities around the world.

The Alliance Française de Karachi offers French language classes around the year for adults and young learners. There is also a regular programme of concerts, shows, art exhibitions and talks by Pakistani and French artists, writers and performers. With a diverse community of Francophiles, students, researchers, artists, travelers, and thinkers, the Alliance Française de Karachi is an important part of Karachi’s artistic and cultural life and is the largest French cultural centre in Pakistan.
