Australia Indonesia Institute
The Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) was established in 1989 for the purpose of providing a focus for the collection, exchange and dissemination of information, and a source of advice, in relation to the ways in which relations between Australia and Indonesia could be encouraged, strengthened and developed. The functions of the Institute are to make recommendations to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade for the broadening of the Australian experience of Indonesia. They work in areas of education, youth, and civil society.
