- developing a budget on the basis of the screenplay and other requirements

- arranging contractual guarantees for a project – ranging from acquiring copyrights, through selecting a location, up to and including arrangements for creative staff, crew, and technician

- casting – selecting actors, types, and extras

- location scouting with the option of choosing from Barrandov’s own database of photographs and assistance

- technical arrangements for a project – ensuring rental of sound stages, technical equipment, set construction, costumes and props, film laboratories, and other services provided by Barrandov Studios

- ensuring all forms of transportation arrangements
