Bitfilm GmbH specialises on the distribution and production of films for digital, networked media.

Bitfilm distributes films that work well on interactive broadband services. So far the Net has been dominated by short films, but with higher bandwith and better compression techniques it becomes the perfect distribution medium for all kinds of films.

The company is focussing on special interest channels for a young target audience - like fun sports, Asian underground and music documentaries. Bitfilm currently conceives and produces several Video-on-Demand channels which will run for broadband providers.

Bitfilm is the organiser of the The Bitfilm Festival.
