Capital E

Capital E is an award-winning not-for-profit organisation based in Wellington, New Zealand which focuses on children and their creativity. It is the only facility in New Zealand that gives children access to a wide range of creative technology, live performance and events, and attracts up to 200,000 visitors each year. 

Capital E is part of Experience Wellington, a registered charity and a Council Controlled Organisation established by Wellington City Council to develop and manage Wellington’s cultural and arts assets. The organisation hosts a combination of unique visitor experiences that contribute to Wellington’s economy and reputation as a centre of excellence for arts, culture and creativity. Experience Wellington includes Capital E, City Gallery Wellington, Wellington Museum, Cable Car Museum, Space Place and Nairn Street Cottage. They also have a management agreement with the NZ Cricket Museum Trust to provide support to the New Zealand Cricket Museum.
