Casino Luxembourg – Contemporary Art Forum

Ideally located in the heart of the capital, the Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain, founded in 1996, presents exhibitions on today's art through an international programme and by relying mainly on a young generation of artists. The art center houses public spaces with various uses and vocations, combining contemporary art with a warm and friendly meeting place: the ground floor has, next to the exhibition halls, a library and a bookstore specialising in contemporary art and a space dedicated to educational activities. The first floor is exclusively assigned to temporary exhibitions, artist monographs and thematic exhibitions. These are complemented by a varied programme of guided tours, conferences, concerts and workshops for everyone. Far from museum concerns, Casino Luxembourg operates like a laboratory of artistic experimentation for emerging trends.
