The China Independant Film Festival

Held yearly in May in Nanjing, China

Based on the High Art Institutes, China Independent Film Festival（CIFF）is prepared and organized by academic study group in many universities and film studios, also financed by the folk art organs. Up till now, it has been held successfully for three times. As a annually non-profit folk film activity, CIFF is one of the permanent culture projects of RCM The Museum of Modern Art, which focused on process of China’s folk film, devoted to collection, file and research the folk films in order to promote folk film-maker and the exchange between related research organizations.
