Cultural Policy Update | publication

None Cultural Policy Update (CPU) is the international e-journal of the Boekman Foundation in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. CPU#2 examines how to make better use of cultural policy research findings.

In this issue of Cultural Policy Update we summarize the key factors that interfere with the translation of cultural (policy) research into practice. We also ask what can be done to moderate such a translation or transfer.

CPU #2 articles include themes such as cultural observatories and their challenge to converse information into knowledge, labour market research and the advantage of a web-based cultural index, knowledge-sharing the field of arts and health care, research and public debate as instruments to gain insight in the culture of a variety of minorities in Serbia, how to evaluate the impact of cultural education within cultural organizations, and co-creation of relevant knowledge to bridge the gap between academia, the cultural field and public cultural policy.
