eQuinoxe

Founded in 1993, the aim of the non-profit company eQuinoxe is to organize two annual writing workshops which bring together selected screenwriters from all around the world and internationally recognized film professionals.
The founding members of eQuinoxe are: Noëlle Deschamps –President (FR), Santiago Amigorena (AR), Jaco Van Dormael (BE), Daniel Langlois (CA), Dominique Marchand (CA), Jim Hart (US), Sydney Pollack (US), Susan B. Landau (US), Frank Pierson (US), Antoine de Caunes (FR), Pierre Jolivet (FR), Elsa Zylberstein (FR), Michael Radford (UK), Simon Beaufoy (UK).

eQuinoxe organized some 29 writing workshops in 14 years. Typically, a workshop lasts five days and consists in a series of individual consulting sessions between the screenwriters and the professional film guests. These enable precise underlining of the screenplay’s strong points and point to directions for improvement of its weaknesses.
