Eurasia International Film Festival

The Eurasia International Film Festival is an international film festival held in Almaty and Astana and supported by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first Eurasia Festival event took place in 1998.

One of the festival’s main objectives is to establish an “East to West” cultural link, and this is why the Festival’s programme includes retrospectives of the film directors from eastern and western countries. Over 130 cinema professionals from Europe, Asia, the Americas, as well as the CIS and Baltic countries have participate in the festival. The Eurasia International Film Festival is accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).
