EURODOC

For more than 10 years now, EURODOC has made its contribution to the training and networking of European producers and funding partners focusing on the development of ambitious documentary projects comprising a wide variety of narrative styles and production modes.

This network currently functions in a systematic manner. Its members share the same approach and are committed to defending the documentary genre.
By working with non-European participants, thanks to the support of MEDIA International, we are pursuing this work with an open mind and curiosity concerning the new formats and outlets for documentaries in order to help new generations of producers deal with a fast-changing market.

Producing highly creative documentaries requires ever-increasing sources of funding which are difficult to find at a national level, irrespective of the size of the country. The context is changing very fast, economic concentration and technological revolutions are speeding up and training has become a constant necessity.
Since its creation, EURODOC has worked with 565 professionals from 46 countries (participants and/or consultants). More than 140 films have been produced and thirty are currently in production.

EURODOC would not exist if it weren’t for its long-term partnership with the MEDIA programme and the European Commission, the Centre National de la Cinématographie and Procirep, as well as the support of its host partners at each of the sessions.
