Fitzcarraldo Foundation

Fondazione Fitzcarraldo is an independent centre for planning, research, training and documentation on cultural, arts and media management, economics and policies, at the service of those who create, practise, take part in, produce, promote and support the arts and culture.

The Foundation aims to contribute to the development, diffusion and promotion of innovation and experimentation in the aforesaid fields of activity, also through the systematic search for collaboration agreements and synergies with local, regional, national and international authorities and bodies. The foundation works in research and consulting, training, and special projects.

The Fitzcarraldo Foundation continues the training activities launched by Artlab and Fitzcarraldo in 1989. Seminars and courses are held on a wide range of subjects, including cultural management, project development, strategic planning, marketing and fundraising, cultural cooperation and networking, and local development strategies. The training offer ranges from lifelong training to post graduate courses and initial training. Fitzcarraldo is responsible since 2000 on behalf of the regional authority for the lifelong training of the personnel of museums, performing arts organisations and of the libraries of Piedmont.
