Forum Film Dokumenter

Forum Film Dokumenter is a non-profit organisation which focuses on the documentary film in Indonesia. The purpose of the organisation is to develop the documentary film infrastructure through research, workshop, archive, screenings, production, and of course the festival. This organisation was established in 2002 with the name Komunitas Dokumenter, but was changed to Forum Film Dokumenter in 2013. Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) Yogyakarta is the first documentary film festival in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Since 2002, every December this annual Festival has been held several programmes related to the documentary films.
