Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música

The mission of the Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música is to foster music, with special attention to choral singing, knowledge and dissemination of cultural heritage and contribute to strengthening social cohesion.

Since January 2012, the Fundació OC-PMC has been in charge of the running and the activities of the Palau de la Música Catalana and its choirs. The institution's uniqueness lies precisely in the symbiosis between the Palau de la Música and the Orfeó Català. An open, dynamic and diverse body which, through its activities, concerts, choirs and the Escola Coral (Choir School), fosters musical practice and training, knowledge of heritage and dissemination of culture among a diverse range of audiences which reflects Catalan society itself.
