German Society Of Cinematographers (bvk)

The German Society Of  (bvk) was founded in 1980 as an organization for free-lanced directors of photography and camera-crew members. Over the years the bvk has put on an impressive number of seminars and workshops for the information and further education of its members. The bvk became a member of the Verwertungsgesellschaft Bild-Kunst, the German Collecting society, (organizing the levy of royalties). The bvk publishes this yearbook, the CameraGuide, listing its members´ background and addresses, which is constantly updated. This CameraGuide has brought the bvk and its members to the notice of Film- and TV-producers throughout Europe.
