Helsinki International Film Festival - Love & Anarchy is a non-competitive film festival held since 1988, yearly in September. The festival promotes the artistry of filmmaking, the inventive, visually stunning and controversial new films, revealing the promising talents of tomorrow.

Love & Anarchy festival is a combination of different strands: Best of Young European Cinema, Modern Asian Cinema, American Independents, Contemporary World Cinema, Gay and Lesbian selection, Fantasy Films, Modern Documentary and Animation. Under the title of Love & Anarchy the festival harbors also the bizarre, the strange and the controversial.
