Formats: 16mm, 35mm, Video-cassettes: U-matic (PAL, SECAM, NTSC) or Betacam (NTSC). Maximum running time 30 minutes. Entries must have been produced during the two years before festival and must be accompanied by a complete English script and synopsis


Awards: Grand Prix (¥1,000,000), Hiroshima prize (¥1,000,000), debut prize (¥500,000), Renzo Kinoshita Prize (¥250,000) special international jury prize(s), prize(s) for outstanding works
