Hong Kong Academy Of Performing Arts

The School of Film and Television, established in September 1996, offers a one-year Diploma programme in Video Production for beginners and, for students with some existing knowledge, a three-year BFA (Honours) Degree programme in Film & TV with six specialist pathways. The School emphasises the importance of creative team work in Film and Television. To ensure a balance of interests within each intake, BFA applicants are asked to select a specialist pathway of study in advance. The School is well equipped with state-of-the-art digital facilities as well as more traditional film and video equipment.

The one-year Diploma programme in Video Production is offered to Form 6 School leavers and above. This is the only programme in Hong Kong providing students with a balance of introductory theory and hands-on practical experience in the production discipline of video and related digital technology. Courses are open to international students as well.
