Instituto Cervantes Sydney

The Instituto Cervantes in Sydney is located in the academic and cultural area of the city, just opposite to the University of Sydney, very close to Notre Dame University and University of Technology of Sydney, and just 100 metres away from Seymour Cultural Centre.

The centre offers general Spanish courses, courses for specific purposes, teacher training courses, and also the option to do the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), which is the official, internationally recognised qualification certifying students' knowledge of Spanish as a foreign language. The Instituto Cervantes, in its Spanish Virtual Classroom (AVE) also offers courses for learning the language.

The Instituto Cervantes in Sydney offers cultural activities in its most varied forms: literature, the arts, cinema, theatre, music. The library, which opened in June 2010, has over 4.500 books in all types of media, and other resources.
