International Cultural Research and Production

International Cultural Research and Production (Intercult) is an independent production and resource unit based in Stockholm, Sweden. It has worked in Sweden and Europe since 1996, as initiator and leader of collaborative culture projects, networks and the development of intercultural and international project competence. It takes an active interest in national and European cultural policy.

Intercult's vision is to challenge conventional structures and mechanisms that prevent people from meeting and collaborating. Its sights are set on geographic and mental borderlines where intercultural opportunities often arise. It is at the seams, which both unite and separate, where art inspires to curiosity and a re-evaluation of our world view.

Intercult’s projects always begin with conditions or a context it wishes to influence. It works cross-disciplinary and trans-regionally, inviting artists from different disciplines and places. Intercult works with partners from all over Europe.
