Japan Video Software Association
Japan Video Associationm (JVA) was founded in July, 1971 by video software manufactures and sales companies for the purpose of contributing to the development of the video software industry in Japan. While initially an unofficial goodwill organization, in March, 1978, the JVA was recognized as a legal entity. At the July, 1996, JVA changed their name for Japan Video Software Association. The Association has many roles and that includes carrying out research and study on video software, holding and providing cooperation and assistance to members and overseas organizations and organizing seminars and conferences for members.
