Jazzfest Brno

JazzFestBrno is an international jazz festival established in 2002. Since then it has come to rank among the most impactful jazz events in the Czech Republic, with over 10,000 visitors each year. The festival maps the current state of the genre and gives space to both mainstream jazz and modern trends.

Its programme offers the greatest jazz masters of the world and laureates of prestigious artistic awards, including the Grammys and a number of world-class musicians made their first-ever visit to the Czech Republic thanks to JazzFestBrno.

The festival also initiates special projects. Recent examples include the Avishai Cohen Symphonic, Richard Galliano and the Brno Philharmonic, Dan Bárta and the Brno Philharmonic. It also supports the creation and continuation of domestic bands that collaborate with excellent artists from abroad.
