Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Construction

Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA) provides professional training in architecture and design, as well as in engineering and construction. In 2007, KazGASA became the first architecture school in the world to receive accreditation from the International Union of Architects (UIA) for its bachelor’s degree in architecture. In 2011, the commission of the UIA and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) confirmed its accreditation of KazGASA.

The students of KazGASA’s architecture and design faculties take part in various projects and activities, such as national and international workshops in their fields and discussion panels on the creative industries sector, run by independent cultural NGOs.
