Khmer Cultural Development Institute
The Khmer Cultural Development Institute (KCDI), also known as the Kampot Traditional Music School for Orphaned and Disabled Children, is a non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organisation dedicated to the care for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and the preservation of Cambodian traditional arts. The school was established in 1994 and serves the needs of the local community in Kampot, a province in the south-west of Cambodia. KCDI was awarded the UNESCO World Decade for Culture in 1995.
