Kolkata Film & Television Institute

Minutes away from Bangur Hospital in Tollygunge, the two-storeyed building, which initially housed Doordarshan Kendra, Kolkata and Radha studio is the present address of Kolkata Film and Television Institute. The ambience of the institute has charm of its own.

The KFTI was founded in the year 2003.

The Institute has A.C floors and classrooms equipped with camera for shooting & editing set-up (Premiere Pro & F.C.P).

The fast growing library of the institute is located at KFTI, equipped with a reading room. The KFTI has a tie-up with the British Council Library from where a student can borrow 3 books & 2 DVD's.

The institute has a large screening room for film projection.

The institute may arrange for hostel and paying guest accommodation for students at reasonable cost.
