Korean National University of Arts has various schools including a School of Film, TV & Multimedia which then has several departments ranging from filmmaking, animation, broadcasting to multimedia. The Department of Film Making provides all the specific courses that are needed to complete a film. Students will gain special expertise in their major like directing, scenario writing, photographing, editing, sound or effect. While the Department of Cinema Studies has open lecture forums like Film Studies and Cultural Studies. Students of this department will understand cultural phenomena related to cinema and produce new cultural perspectives by participating in these inter-departmental classes on visual culture. Both undergraduate and graduate courses are offered.
