Mohatta Palace Museum

The Mohatta Palace Museum in Karachi, inaugurated in 1999, was purchased by the Sindh Government with the aim of converting the striking ornate structure into a museum of international standing devoted to the arts.
The Mohatta Palace Museum serves as symbol of a cultural renaissance in the city. The museum holds two or more exhibitions every year, presenting a wide range of themes from contemporary art and cartography to textiles of the sub-continent. These exhibitions are engaging and appeal to a huge section of the city’s populace.
