Nimbus Film Aps

Nimbus Film was established in 1993 by producers Birgitte Hald and Bo Ehrhardt, both graduated from The National Film School of Denmark with directors as Ole Christian Madsen, Thomas Vinterberg and Per Fly. Its goal is to create good, original stories with a universal appeal. Nimbus has its home in the center of Copenhagen - after moving from Filmbyen in 2010.

Since 1993 Nimbus Film has produced more than 40 feature films and a host of award winning shorts and has been the engine behind the DOGMA-movement together with Zentropa. Among many other prizes Nimbus Film has won the Silver Bear Award in Berlin (Mifune and A Soap) and the Jury Prize in Cannes (The Celebration). Nimbus Film has been both Oscar and Golden Globe nominated.
