Norwegian National Museum of Decorative Arts

Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum (Norwegian National Museum of Decorative Arts) is a national museum of decorative arts and design, located in Trondheim, Norway. The museum has a responsibility to collect, manage and exhibit arts and crafts, and industrial design.

As from February 2021 the museum building in Munkegata is closed for renovation. The museum's collection of nearly 40,000 works and objects will be digitised before packed and transported to new storage facilities. Parts of the collection will be presented in new exhibitions in the Hannah Ryggen center, the Austrått manor, other museums in the MiST organization and collaborative partners nationally and internationally.
