Replika Center for Educational Theater

The Replika Educational Theater Center dedicates its activity to the exploration and public presentation of performative creations, conceived by activist artists in a close relationship with the community. Artists and active citizens respond to community issues.

The space was conceived as an independent, interdisciplinary space, promoting the collaboration between professional artists and members of vulnerable communities and encouraging a theatre for young audience, deeply involved in society. The Replika Center aims to build a platform for pedagogical creation and participatory art, through which marginalised audiences can self-represent and create art that defines their needs and expectations. They believe that access to any cultural event must be free and supported by the entire community. Free access is a fundamental value for the philosophy of the Replika Center.
